I would love to see both Flau'jae Johnson and Raven Johnson join my hometown team, the Washington Mystics.
But realistically, a few things would have to fall perfectly into place. If the Mystics select one of them at No. 4, they’d have to trust the other would still be available at No. 9, which isn’t very likely.
A strong alternative for team chemistry would be selecting Raven Johnson at No. 4, then going after Ta'Niya Latson at No. 9. However, with the way she’s been performing, there’s a good chance she won’t fall that far in the draft.
Either way, this draft class is loaded with talent. With picks No. 4, 9, and 11, the Mystics are in a great position, so it should be an exciting draft night no matter which direction they go.
Flau'je is a great defender and she knows how to score and handle the ball.
Raven Johnson is a floor general that was coached by one of the greatest floor generals Dawn Staley. She can also defend and score.
Another great pick up for the Mystics would be Rorie Harmon from Texas.
She reminds me of Shannon Bobbit from Tennessee and Bobbit also played for the Washington Mystics.
She also reminds me of Ivory Latta from UNC.
